FER CIAM is the Geneva agency of the largest interprofessional Swiss AHV fund, FER Geneva, created by FER Geneva and fully integrated into its ecosystem of services for member companies.

With nearly 47,500 affiliates — including companies and self-employed individuals — it is one of the key players in social protection in French-speaking Switzerland.

On a daily basis, its teams manage the collection of 2.425 billion francs in AHV and unemployment insurance contributions, as well as the payment of more than 876 million francs in AHV, IV benefits and loss of earnings allowances. In parallel, they administer family allowances and enforce collective labour agreements.

A demanding technical scope, serving thousands of companies and their insured persons — where each file has a direct impact on the professional and social life of those concerned.

Your mission:

Within our specialised sector, you ensure appropriate support to our insured persons through autonomous and rigorous management.

Your daily challenges:

• You interpret APG requests and determine entitlement to benefits in strict compliance with current laws
• You calculate allowances accurately and notify decisions clearly and professionally
• You manage your files from A to Z with appropriate organisation
• You become a key contact for insured persons and employers to guide them in their procedures
• You tackle technical challenges while ensuring impeccable service quality
• You work in synergy with our internal and external partners for ever more efficient service
• You actively participate in continuous improvement by contributing to workshops and working groups, identifying optimisation opportunities and proposing concrete solutions to enhance process efficiency and service quality
• In the face of increasing legislative complexity, you maintain active regulatory monitoring to master the constant evolution of APG benefits and ensure the always accurate application of insured persons’ rights.

Profile sought

Your profile:

• You hold a commercial employee CFC or an equivalent qualification
• You have experience in administration and demonstrate ease with numbers; prior experience in social insurance (e.g. daily allowances) is an asset
• Your synthesis skills and ability to juggle several files simultaneously are your strengths
• You stand out for your rigour, results-oriented culture and excellent writing skills
• You have perfect command of French and very good knowledge of German, enabling you to communicate orally and in writing independently with our partners
