Fundraiser Foundation Partnerships (60% - 80%)

For our Partnerships & Philanthropy team in Zurich, we are looking for a competent and motivated personality in the field of foundation fundraising.
The position is intended as maternity cover in a fixed-term employment from January to the end of July 2026 – with the option of extension.

Contributions from foundations are a central pillar of our financing. As part of our Partnerships & Philanthropy team, you take on an important role and contribute significantly to achieving sustainable impact together.
YOUR TASKS
- Independent management of a portfolio of institutional donors in the German-speaking part of Switzerland
- Identification and approach of new donors as well as building long-term partnerships
- Negotiation of contribution agreements and clarification of relevant framework conditions
- Maintenance and deepening of existing relationships with partner foundations
- Preparation of convincing project proposals and precise accountability reports
- Coordination and exchange between donors and project managers in our partner countries
YOUR PROFILE
- University or university of applied sciences degree in a relevant field
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable position with solid know-how in fundraising and communication
- Knowledge in the management of international development projects and development cooperation is an advantage
- Strong skills in forward planning, prioritization, as well as independent and precise working methods
- High customer orientation, conscientiousness, and a confident, professional appearance
- Ability to present complex issues clearly and style-secure communication in spoken and written form
- Fluent German in spoken and written form; very good English skills as well as French and/or Spanish
