Your tasks
- Together with your team, you develop sustainable solutions for the street and living space of the city of Lucerne and are responsible for corresponding projects. You develop traffic-coordinated street space designs.
- You assess projects in terms of traffic safety and implement necessary traffic measures accordingly.
- Whether parking space reduction, climate neighborhoods, or traffic regulations – you independently, flexibly, and committedly handle a wide range of traffic-related issues.
- You are the contact person for internal and external stakeholders.
- You write sophisticated reports, applications, and statements for politics and authorities.
- You maintain direct contact with the political bodies of the city of Lucerne.
Your profile
- You have a master's degree in spatial/traffic planning, engineering, or a comparable education.
- You have several years of experience in traffic planning, especially in traffic spatial issues, and have accompanied demanding projects.
- Ideally, you bring knowledge of the relevant VSS standards as well as supplementary guidelines and standards.
- You are communicative, solution-oriented, and enjoy working interdisciplinarily.
- You are characterized by an independent, structured, and analytical way of working.
- You enjoy presenting and writing comes easily to you.
