Your Tasks
You inform the public as a media spokesperson and/or are responsible as a project manager for marketing projects. Both roles include regularly performing on-call duties.
Your area of responsibility as a media spokesperson:
- Writing media releases
- Responding to media inquiries (written and oral)
- Contact person for media professionals
- Interview accompaniment, information for radio or television
- Support and advice to departments on project and communication-related matters
- Co-responsibility for the appearance of the Bern Cantonal Police
Your area of responsibility as a project manager marketing:
- Independent management of marketing projects (print and digital)
- Responsible for recruitment and image campaigns as well as media planning
- Responsible for the Bern Cantonal Police's printed materials (planning, implementation)
- Participation in positioning and ensuring CI/CD
- Support and advice to departments in the area of web and social media
- Support media work
Within the framework of our agile working method (newsroom), there is the possibility to take on both areas of responsibility as well as further cross-functional tasks with the appropriate knowledge.
Your Profile
You have a degree in communication sciences and/or marketing or are a police officer and have experience in media work and, if possible, in the conception and implementation of marketing measures - online and offline.
You have good editorial skills and a confident appearance. In addition, you convince with an independent, structured, precise, and deadline-oriented way of working. You are a native German speaker and have good knowledge of French.
You are motivated to actively contribute, enthusiastic, and open to new things. You do not mind performing on-call duties, including on weekends. You see agile working as an advantage and are interested in working for public safety.
