The study administration of the Faculty of Philosophy and History is looking for a scientific assistant for immediate start (or by arrangement) to provide administrative support primarily in the master’s and doctoral area.
Your tasks
- Assistance with data entry and data maintenance
- Collaboration in the preparation of final documents
- Support in the organization and execution of the graduation ceremony
- Sending and archiving of documents
Your profile
You are currently studying at the BA or MA level at the Faculty of Philosophy and History at the University of Basel. You are a motivated, reliable, and responsible person with precise working methods who has solid computer skills (Windows Office, SAP is an advantage). In addition, you are willing to flexibly adjust your working hours to the varying workload during the semester.
We offer you
The workload is a maximum of 12 hours per week. The position is limited to 1 year with the possibility of extension up to a maximum of 5 years (until completion of studies). Remuneration is according to the university regulations for student assistants.
