With over 1000 employees, the University Geriatric Medicine FELIX PLATTER is one of the leading institutions in Switzerland for geriatric medicine, psychiatry, and rehabilitation. With us, the highest medical competence and genuine empathy come together – become part of our dedicated team!

We are an interdisciplinary private ward with a committed team of around 40 employees and trainees. We care for both acute and rehab patients, who are accommodated in spacious single rooms. Our patients also benefit from modern hospitality services, available daily until 7 pm. We work in nursing according to the principles of Lean Management.

Your activities

Ensuring effective, patient- and outcome-oriented care in collaboration with the qualified nursing staff according to existing care plans and within professional competencies

Ensuring cleanliness and order in patient rooms, utility and work areas, contributing to a homely, tidy, and comfortable environment for patients and guests

Assessing care situations and triggering appropriate reactions in acute situations

Conducting simple, everyday consultations regarding nutrition, personal hygiene, and clothing

Maintaining complete nursing documentation as well as recording all services provided

Participating in projects and supporting the department management and the entire team to ensure the best possible quality of care

Organizing patient transports and escorts

Ensuring a hospitable service, especially regarding meal preparation and service

Your profile

Completed training as a Health Specialist EFZ

Professional experience in acute care or rehabilitation desired

Flexible, resilient, and motivated personality with great empathy and excellent interpersonal skills

High social competence and pronounced team player attitude

Sense of responsibility and quick comprehension
