We are looking for a technically skilled and implementation-oriented Salesforce Platform Owner in Basel who will lead, develop, and actively shape our Salesforce ecosystem.

Your area of responsibility

• Overall responsibility for the strategic development of the Salesforce platform, including roadmap, governance model, and target architecture.
• Function as an internal Design Authority, with decision-making and approval responsibility for architecture and solution concepts.
• Configuration and continuous development of Salesforce, especially in the areas of flows, objects, fields, validation rules, security concept, as well as reporting and dashboards.
• Design and management of integration and API architectures, including connection via middleware solutions (e.g., MuleSoft).
• Ensuring a sustainable, scalable data and system architecture as well as consistent application of best practices in configuration and customizing.
• Technical management and quality assurance of external implementation partners, focusing on architecture quality, scalability, and sustainable solution implementation.
• Close collaboration with Sales Excellence and business units to translate requirements into future-proof, standard-compliant solutions.
• Responsibility for release management, environment strategy, and deployment processes, including governance and quality assurance.
• Monitoring system performance, stability, and user acceptance as well as managing incidents and continuous platform optimization.

Your qualifications

• Several years (5+ years) of practical experience in the Salesforce ecosystem, ideally in a responsible system or platform role.
• Experience both in architecture and solution design as well as in the operational configuration of Salesforce.
• Solid knowledge in automation and process design (flows), data modeling, as well as in security and sharing concepts.
• Confident handling of integration architectures, APIs, and common integration patterns, including best practices in release management.
• Experience in managing and collaborating with external implementation partners, focusing on quality and sustainable architecture.
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Platform App Builder; ideally in the Architect track) are an advantage.
• Experience in the B2B sales environment as well as with integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft) is desirable.
• Very good German and English skills
