About the job
For our attractive and modern location Geriatric Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic Aarau (SIWF recognized training center) we are looking for a suitable site manager from October 2026 or by arrangement
Tasks
- System and professional responsibility for the site with support from the superior position (Co-center management Center for Geriatric Psychiatry)
- Personnel management, concept development, patient-oriented process organization
- Diagnostics and therapy within the framework of the standardized procedures of the interdisciplinary Memory Clinic (according to Swiss Memory Clinics Association standards)
- Treatment within the framework of special consultations according to professional geriatric psychiatric guidelines/recommendations (according to SGAP standards)
- Consultation and liaison activities in partner institutions
- Careful documentation of the medical history including reporting
- Networking/communication with all involved parties (general practitioner, hospital, long-term care institution, relatives)
- Participation in interdisciplinary reports
- Appreciative collaboration in the multiprofessional and interdisciplinary team
- Participation in further education and training offers, representative events as well as projects according to management specifications
Profile
- Physician with completed specialist training in psychiatry and psychotherapy
- Specialist title in geriatric psychiatry and psychotherapy or interest in it is an advantage
- Leadership and business management training is an advantage (CAS level)
- Sense of responsibility, reliability, commitment and ability to work in a team
- Independent and efficient working style, high resilience and strong social skills
- Enjoyment of multiprofessional and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Interest in taking on specialist and line responsibility
- Foreign language skills are an advantage
