The Terra Vecchia Foundation is an established organization in the canton of Bern. Our operations focus on housing promotion, work integration/production, as well as inpatient addiction and social therapy.
In Kehrsatz, we run the Wohnen Plus service in a well-maintained house near the Aare. Here, eight young people live together in a shared apartment and strengthen their practical life skills while making plans for the future. We support them in expanding and consolidating their independence.
For this operation, we are looking from March 2026 for
Employees for evening, night, and weekend service (ENW)
with a flexible workload of 10-20%
Your tasks
You relieve the core team during the evening and night hours as well as on weekends and public holidays in the areas of care and housekeeping. You always have a standby person from the professional team in the background.
- First point of contact for our residents, also in crisis situations
- Responsibility for compliance with house rules
- Support and accompaniment of clients in cooperation with the core team
- Evening activities together with the clients
- Housekeeping tasks in the house and garden
- Participation in handover meetings
- Documentation in the IT system SocialOffice
- Regular participation in ENW team meetings and overall team meetings (six meetings per year)
Working hours
- Monday to Thursday: 5:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m., followed by standby sleep until 5:30 a.m. Shift ends at 8:00 a.m.
- Friday and Saturday: 5:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m., followed by standby sleep on site, resumption of work from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
You bring
- Resilient, proactive, and independent personality with high social competence and assertiveness
- Enjoyment in supportive and encouraging work with young adults
- Interest in a long-term commitment
- Minimum age 25 years
- Driver's license category B
- Basic knowledge of common PC application programs (e.g., Word, Excel)
- Willingness to work irregular shifts
