About the job
The Digital Forensics department is attached to the Criminal Division. The IT specialists make a significant contribution to solving crimes by securing, analyzing, and evaluating digital traces. Their work requires a high level of expertise and a sense of responsibility.
Your tasks
- Investigation and analysis of cybercrime cases during on-site operations
- Securing, evaluating, and interpreting digital evidence in close cooperation with the case managers
- Preparation of well-founded investigation reports as well as investigation and prevention recommendations
- Participation in training and further education activities in the field of cybercrime and IT forensics
- Support in planning and operating the internal forensic server infrastructure
Your profile
- Completed university or university of applied sciences education, for example in digital forensics, computer science, or a related field
- Solid knowledge in network, system, and IT security as well as high technical affinity and willingness to learn
- Very good German skills in writing and speaking as well as good French and English skills
- Analytical thinking, resilience, and high performance in demanding operational situations
- Team player, independent and committed; driving license category B required
