Commercial Employee School Administration (80%)
To strengthen our team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a committed, versatile, and warm personality who enjoys taking responsibility and working in the international environment of our day school in the heart of Zurich. In this varied role, you are part of our school administration team and, together with colleagues, ensure the smooth running of school operations. Your focus is on accounts receivable/payable accounting, complemented by property management and general administrative tasks.
The Rietberg Montessori School is a private day school for children aged 3 - 12 years, working according to the pedagogy of Maria Montessori. The goal of our school is to offer children the opportunity to develop into independent, confident, and responsible individuals with a strong sense of community.
Commercial Employee School Administration (80%)
General areas of responsibility:
- Preparation, recording, execution, and control of accounts receivable and payable invoices including dunning and reconciliation with the fiduciary office
- Managing the cash register
- Maintaining inventory lists for the school
- Administration and care of our listed school buildings
- Contact person for facility management, craftsmen, and energy suppliers
- Administration and contact person for gymnasium organization
- Processing mail, emails, and telephone inquiries
- Contact person for parents, employees, and students
- Organization of appointments, meetings
- Support for course instructors (on- and offboarding) as well as handling room allocation and notices
- Assistance and organization of school events
- Taking minutes
- General secretarial work
Your profile:
- Completed commercial training
- Professional experience in accounts receivable/payable accounting and/or school administration
- Native German speaker with very good English skills in spoken and written form
- Confident handling of MS Office
- High self-motivation, sense of responsibility, and independent working style
- Open communication, service orientation, and enjoyment of teamwork
- Experience in property management or facility management is an advantage
