The Directorate for Security, Environment and Energy is committed to safety, protection and assistance, environmental protection, sustainable energy supply, and is responsible for building permit procedures as well as the Bern Zoo. The Police Inspectorate is responsible for local and commercial police, naturalizations, resident services, migration, and foreign police.
Activities
- Planning and organizing markets (including the Onion Market), information booths, take-away and merchandise displays in the city of Bern, approving mobile poster stands, controlling in the field, reacting situationally, initiating necessary steps in a timely manner
- Advising and providing information (email, phone, counter), reviewing applications, handling correspondence, initiating/ordering measures in case of non-compliance with permit regulations
- Interesting, versatile activity in a team of three, also outside normal working hours in the city of Bern
Profile
- Commercial or equivalent training, good IT user skills in MS Office
- Friendly, confident and neat appearance, very good communication skills, enjoyment in daily interaction with people
- Quick comprehension, networked thinking/acting, reliable, willing to perform
- Flexibility in working hours: planned weekend shifts
