You accompany our residents in their daily activities and contribute to the order of the station.
To complement our team, we are looking for a nurse 80 - 100 % immediately or by agreement. Diaconis operates three business areas: housing and care for the elderly, palliative care, and professional integration. Since its founding in 1844, Diaconis has been committed as a non-profit organization to ensuring that people in fragile life situations are cared for, supported, and accompanied according to their needs. Our team consists of around 300 employees at several locations in the city of Bern, Ostermundigen, and Biel. We provide caring and professional care and support around the clock in our three nursing homes Oranienburg, Belvoir, and Altenberg, as well as the senior residence Villa Sarepta (living with services). The proximity to the city and the Salem Hospital, as well as our own medical team, make our facilities the first choice for pleasant and safe living in old age. Diaconis offers people with different needs a home and welcomes guests for holiday and transitional stays at any time.
Your tasks with us
- You lovingly care for and support our residents in their daily lives
- You take on household tasks and ensure comfort and order in the living areas
- In collaboration or consultation with the specialist staff, you take on possible key person tasks
- You observe and document the health status of the residents
The following is what you bring
- Training at the assistant level (Assistant/-in Health/Social EBA, Nursing Assistant/-in FA) or the SRK course
- Good German language skills in spoken and written form (at least B2)
- Flexibility and resilience, conscientious work style
- Active design of needs-oriented care and support
- Team ability, cooperative working style, and empathy
