In this diverse job

you will work for 12 months in various departments of the Luzerner Zeitung, getting to know the entire range of journalistic work
you report on current events in the region, research, conduct interviews, and write portraits
you fully immerse yourself in the daily life of the Luzerner Zeitung and report in all journalistic forms "digital first"
you are also out and about with on-site research

You will succeed here if

you can demonstrate initial journalistic experience, enjoy researching, are creative, and have ideas for stories
you know that journalism is not activism – and that CH Media practices journalism
you approach people openly, think of the readers and not your "bubble" in your reporting
you have very good German skills and broad general knowledge and are interested in events in the world, in Switzerland, and in your region
you have completed training and ideally hold a category B driving license
