To expand our team, we are looking for a
Pricing Specialist (50-80%) limited for 12 months starting February or by arrangement
Are you familiar with data-driven pricing and want to actively contribute to the further development of our pricing?
As a Pricing Specialist, you support our Business Development team in transforming our price management towards a modern, automated approach. You actively work on the implementation and further development of a new pricing tool and design pricing logics, rules, and processes so that they are economically sensible and operationally practical. With your structured and analytical perspective, you help make our price management more precise, transparent, and efficient. An exciting area of responsibility awaits you, with direct exchange with various departments and the opportunity to actively contribute input and take responsibility in a transformative project.
Your challenge
- Participation in the implementation, configuration, and testing of a new pricing tool
- Definition, maintenance, and further development of pricing rules, parameters, and workflows
- Conducting A/B tests to evaluate the effectiveness of price and rule changes
- Creation of clear, precise, and comprehensible documentation (including test protocols, manuals, process descriptions)
- Evaluation of additional functions or tools within the scope of pricing automation
- Contribution to the further development of the pricing strategy by providing sound analyses, critical questions, and practical improvement suggestions
- Conducting market, competitor, and margin analyses to determine optimal price positions and identify improvement potentials
- Support in maintaining and managing price master data in the ERP system as part of the tool introduction
- Support and training of employees in tool usage
- Collaboration in a small project team in exchange with other departments
What is important to us
- Completed studies in business administration, economics, business informatics, or a comparable education
- At least 1 year of experience in pricing, category management, retail analytics, or a comparable field
- Proven experience in the introduction and/or testing of a new software tool, ideally in pricing or analytics environment
- Good understanding of retail KPIs and price elasticities as well as the ability to confidently assess their impact on pricing
- Structured and careful working style to create comprehensible and precise documentation
- Confident handling of Excel as well as experience working with and a strong affinity for data-based software tools and process automation
- Clear, target-group-oriented communication as well as pronounced ability for cross-departmental collaboration and constructive contribution of ideas
