Head of Toolmaking and Tool Maintenance

We are an owner-managed Swiss family business that has been developing, producing, and assembling plastic parts using injection molding on behalf of customers since 1981. Versatility in individual customer solutions, precision in tool development, efficiency in series production, and flexibility in assembly are our strengths. The SKS team consists of around 100 employees.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a

Head of Toolmaking and Tool Maintenance 100% starting January 1, 2026, or by arrangement

• Leadership, promotion, and further development of a team of qualified specialists
• Planning, organizing, and monitoring all processes in toolmaking (new tools, maintenance, repairs)
• Close cooperation with production, project management, and design
• Continuous development of manufacturing processes, equipment, and workflows to increase efficiency
• Responsibility for compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards

• Completed basic training as a polymechanic or toolmaker with further education as a mechanical engineering or plastics technician HF or similar
• Several years of experience in toolmaking, preferably in the plastic injection molding industry is an advantage
• Leadership experience with strong organizational, motivational, and communication skills
• Entrepreneurial thinking, high initiative, and strong implementation skills
• Enjoyment in optimizing processes and driving changes forward
• Team-oriented personality with a hands-on mentality
