Ensuring electricity in Switzerland
In this exciting role, you take responsibility for procurement in the area of planner and engineering services and represent this topic as an ambassador within purchasing and across departments. As a Procurement Manager, you are responsible for your product groups and ensure close coordination with internal stakeholders to achieve jointly defined strategic and operational goals. Your further tasks include:
- Designing category management for planner & engineering services within the team – from strategic orientation to operational implementation
- Planning, coordinating, and supporting procurements in French and German in the area of planner & engineering services according to public procurement law (BöB/VöB) and our internal guidelines
- Close collaboration with project managers: joint review and optimization of requirements and ensuring timely, market-appropriate, and high-quality procurement
- Analysis and monitoring of procurement markets: identifying opportunities, risks, and trends to ensure long-term supply security and cost efficiency
- Developing and implementing effective procurement strategies in close exchange with our specialists and with regard to market and industry developments
- Managing and optimizing the supplier portfolio: evaluating performance, risks, and market changes to sustainably secure quality, deadlines, and costs
- Responsibility for claim management – in close cooperation with the legal department and all relevant stakeholders
- Contributing to the design and further development of contract management
- Actively shaping the further development of procurement & claim management (e.g., by initiating or leading development projects focusing on resilience, cost-effectiveness, and digitalization)

- You have a commercial or technical education at HF, FH, or university level – ideally complemented by further training or experience in purchasing, supply chain management, or project management
- You have experience in conducting procurements, ideally in the public sector – including contract design – or bring comparable experience from a relevant environment
- You present yourself confidently, are resilient, and strong in communication. Persuasiveness and assertiveness are among your strengths
- Experience in developing procurement strategies and knowledge of procurement law (BöB/VöB) are advantageous; knowledge in supplier management is a plus
- Experience with clients in the public infrastructure sector or knowledge of the SIA standards is a plus
- You are proficient in MS Office and quickly learn new systems such as SAP
- Very good French skills in spoken and written form are essential. Good German skills are important; English or Italian are a plus
