The Lindberg Private Clinic is the leading private clinic in the Winterthur region with 68 beds, 105 attending physicians, and 147 employees. The focus areas include surgery, orthopedics, urology, and neurology, among others.
Both clinics combine medical expertise with individual care for high-quality and humane healthcare.
Job Description
- Overall responsibility for technical operations in Winterthur and Schaffhausen (building technology, maintenance)
- On-call duty in the Winterthur and Schaffhausen regions - 45 minutes travel time per location
- Ensuring compliance with legal regulations (fire protection, occupational safety, environmental protection, MepV, etc.)
- Responsibility for monitoring and reporting of medical technology using the FM tool
- Reporting to the Hospitality Manager and Head of Administration and Services
- Supervision and maintenance of all technical systems (heating, air conditioning, ventilation, sanitary, electrical, elevators, kitchen, etc.)
- Creation and monitoring of maintenance plans
- Ensuring energy efficiency and optimizing resource consumption (electricity, water, gas)
- Coordination of external service providers for major work
- Planning and support of technical projects, conversions, or renovations
- Cost control for repairs, energy, materials, and external services
- Preparation of investment proposals for technical modernizations
- Monitoring of all safety-relevant systems (fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, etc.)
- Execution and documentation of legally required inspections and tests
- Regular safety rounds and employee training (e.g., fire protection, emergency plans)
- Implementation of sustainability measures (energy efficiency, waste management, water management)
- Monitoring and reporting of energy and water consumption
- Professional leadership of a team
- Creation of duty rosters, responsibility for employees' working hours
- Assistance in training apprentices as Facility Management Specialists EFZ
- Procurement of consumables and supplies
- SIBE responsibility for 2 clinics
- Responsible for the entire EVAC concept of both clinics
- Responsible for the access control system of both clinics
Qualifications
- Completed training in a building technology profession (e.g., HVAC) and equivalent work experience
- At least 5 years of professional experience
- At least 3 years of leadership experience
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Strong communication and persuasion skills
- Social and intercultural competence
- Skill in problem-solving and "hands-on mentality"
- Teamwork skills
- High commitment
- Strong service orientation towards our patients
- Good language skills in German and English
- French language skills are an advantage
