Your tasks
- You certify civil status events from birth, through marriage to death, including court and administrative decisions.
- You receive and process declarations (e.g., recognition, name declaration, gender change).
- As part of marriage preparation, you check whether all marriage requirements are met.
- You conduct wedding ceremonies.
- You create extracts from the civil status registers.
- You advise our customers by phone or in person at the counter.
Your profile
- You have completed commercial basic training, preferably in a public administration, as well as the federal specialist certificate as a civil status officer.
- You have practical experience in the area of responsibility and have a flair for legal matters.
- You express yourself fluently in written and spoken German and bring foreign language skills.
- Your working style is independent, reliable, service-oriented, and empathetic.
