Our Financial Accounting Advisory Services Team provides consulting services across the entire breadth of the finance function. To further strengthen our Enhanced Accounting and Reporting Team in Zurich or Basel, we are looking for an experienced, team-oriented, motivated, and committed individual as Senior Consultant / Manager (80-100%).

Your key areas of responsibility:
Support our clients with their challenges in Enhanced Corporate Reporting and Accounting (ECRA).
This includes, among other things, assisting with the transition of accounting standards, implementing new accounting standards, supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of accounting and reporting, participating in the preparation of financial statements and notes, as well as advising on processes related to non-financial reporting (e.g., sustainability reporting).
Support with technical accounting questions and specific challenges of our clients (e.g., specific accounting issues), including those related to the statutory individual financial statements under Swiss law (OR) as well as under Swiss GAAP FER and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
You will work with specialists from various fields (e.g., tax and sustainability, etc.) as well as with international experts to provide our clients with integrated and cross-functional service.
Support our clients in adapting and transforming their finance function — including identifying optimization and efficiency potentials in their reporting processes as well as assisting with the implementation, automation, and/or improvement of internal control systems.
Ensure a clear understanding of the business requirements and expectations of our clients to deliver high-quality, clear, and professionally prepared results.
You ensure timely delivery of work results while adhering to regulatory requirements.
Identify and develop new business opportunities related to FAAS projects, solutions, and client relationships in the area of Enhanced Corporate Reporting and Accounting (ECRA).
This is what you bring — skills that shape the future
Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration and additionally a diploma as a certified auditor (or equivalent) (e.g., expert in accounting and controlling, CPA, or ACCA).
4-7 years of experience in an auditing or consulting firm or in the finance function of a larger company.
Very good knowledge of accounting under Swiss law, Swiss GAAP FER, and IFRS. Knowledge of US GAAP is a plus.
As an additional plus, you have project experience related to sustainability issues in accounting and reporting.
