With nearly 1,400 employees, the Department of Rehabilitation and Geriatrics is a medical center focused on the elderly and is spread over 5 sites: Trois-Chêne, Loëx, Bellerive, Beau-Séjour, and Joli-Mont. It manages acute situations, notably through the emergency services of the Trois-Chêne hospital, age-related specific problems, medical rehabilitation, and palliative care.
The Memory Center is located in Cluse-Roseraie and addresses the multiple challenges posed by memory disorders. It offers diagnosis based on state-of-the-art techniques, multidisciplinary care, and individualized therapies. Patients can participate in research projects and test new medications.
Job Description
Do you want to participate in the practical application of research on Alzheimer’s disease and collaborate with recognized specialists in this field?
The Memory Center is looking for a head or chief of clinic, with or without a specialty title, to strengthen its dynamic team.
You will participate in the clinical and research activities of the Center and ensure the quality of medical services.
You are responsible for conducting diagnostic assessments, medical follow-up visits, and diagnostic procedures such as lumbar puncture.
You contribute to the recruitment, as well as the clinical assessments and follow-ups of patients and volunteers participating in therapeutic trials and observational studies at the Memory Center, ensuring their safety.
You participate in the continuous improvement of clinical forms used and ensure the updating of data collection tools for research.
You contribute to organizing conferences and symposia, particularly within the framework of continuing education.
You are involved in team meetings, case presentations at the Memory Board, and participation in conferences and seminars organized by the Center and the Department of Rehabilitation and Geriatrics.
You support and supervise Master’s students or clinical interns within the Center.
Qualifications
You hold a federal medical diploma or have training deemed equivalent by the Medical Professions Commission of the Federal Office of Public Health (MEBEKO recognition).
You have or are close to obtaining an FMH specialty title (neurology or geriatrics).
If you hold an FMH specialty title, you must have a practice license in the canton of Geneva.
For non-French speakers, a C1 level in spoken and written French is required.
Your excellent communication skills allow you to interact within a multidisciplinary team and with patients. You are autonomous, flexible, dynamic, and committed.
A C1 level in English is desirable.
