About the job
The SalZH Foundation, founded in 2002, cares for and educates children in the Winterthur area in four daycares, four playgroups, as well as in primary and secondary schools in regular and special education classes – within the framework of Curriculum 21 and based on our four values
What we wish for
We are looking for a class teacher who will take responsibility for our combined 1st/2nd regular class. You know how to create a learning-promoting atmosphere and see it as an opportunity to incorporate the Christian values anchored in our mission statement into the lessons.
In addition, you appreciate the opportunity to work with experiential education – for example, involving our farm. You are willing to actively further develop our educational concept with a focus on experiential education, connection to nature, and practical learning.
For job-specific information, please contact Vera Baumann (vbaumann@salzh.ch).
What to expect
As a class teacher, you will accompany the children of the 1st/2nd grade with joy, clarity, and commitment. You design lively, child-appropriate lessons and create learning spaces where children can grow through experiencing, discovering, and acting together.
A special focus is on experiential education – indoors and outdoors.
What you bring
- Completed pedagogical training (EDK-recognized)
- Creativity and initiative
- Teamwork skills and willingness to actively participate
What we offer
You work in an interdisciplinary team and do not bear responsibility alone. The flexible environment of our private school allows us to continuously develop the school. Regular supervisions as well as internal and external further training support your professional and personal development. Our Christian values offer you the opportunity to authentically and practically integrate faith into everyday school life.
