These are your tasks
- Responsible for the financial, strategic, and operational management together with the four-member executive management.
- Consistent further development of the service offering and the high quality of care and support.
- Forward-looking and effective design of leadership, employee, and organizational structures at the two Burgerspittel locations for around 200 employees and around 180 residents.
- Leading strategic and operational projects from conception to realization, managing interdisciplinary teams, and responsible for the timely, quality-required, and sustainable implementation of organizational and infrastructure projects.
- Active networking in the healthcare sector, monitoring relevant developments, formulating a professional assessment, and deriving future-oriented courses of action.
- Preparing business cases (applications) for the authorities of the Burgergemeinde in close cooperation with the strategic authority (Burgerspittel commission) and especially with its president.
This is what distinguishes you
- Basic business or medical education with advanced management training as well as, preferably, further training in the areas of long-term care, elderly care, gerontology, etc.
- Several years of leadership experience in a comparable role in the health/social sector with demanding interdisciplinary management tasks.
- Strong business and analytical thinking with the ability to prioritize, structure, and coordinate topics.
- Integrity and responsible decision-maker as well as a calm and empathetic personality with high resilience.
- Strengths-based leadership and promotion of employees from all professional groups and shaping change processes with clarity, structure, and a participatory approach.
- Excellent communication skills in dealing with different stakeholders as well as solid negotiation skills in flawless German (written and spoken), knowledge of French is an advantage.
