Your Tasks
- You take over the professional and disciplinary leadership of the backend team (approx. 6 employees) in the areas of network, Windows, Linux and databases
- You control and are responsible for the stable operation as well as the further development of the backend and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, on-prem & hybrid) including availability, security, monitoring and lifecycle management
- You ensure the operational stability and continuous further development of our backend platforms (lifecycle management, availability, monitoring, backup & restore, security)
- You work hands-on in the operation of Windows/Linux systems as well as Microsoft and hybrid backend services (Windows Server, Active Directory / Entra ID, Azure)
- You lead and coordinate operational and infrastructure projects and are responsible for changes, incidents and problems in 2nd and 3rd level support
- You contribute to the strategic further development of our IT environment and actively bring in your ideas and technical know-how
You Bring
- Several years of practical experience in the areas of Windows and Linux servers, Microsoft Azure and infrastructure
- Experience in team leadership
- Knowledge of Amazon S3, shell scripting, Linux and hypervisor is an advantage
- Ideally already experience with modern and established methods such as Kanban, SAFe or Scrum
- High motivation to deepen yourself in complex systems and future trends
- Customer-oriented working style with good communication skills in German and English
