Your tasks
In this exciting and demanding management position, the following tasks await you:
• You monitor the legally correct business conduct and the compliance with the values of the cantonal police
• You are responsible for the professional and personnel management as well as the further development of the 12 employees of the legal service and the 20 employees of the specialist area weapons, explosives, and trade
• You advise and support the corps management, the management, and the employees in all legal matters
• You oversee procurement law processes and tender procedures from a legal perspective, participate in contract negotiations, and manage contract management
• You lead legislative projects and oversee consultation procedures at the federal, cantonal, and municipal levels
• You are responsible for ensuring, enforcing, and coordinating data protection requirements
• You teach in internal training and further education
Your profile
• You are a lawyer and preferably have a degree as an attorney
• You have several years of leadership experience, are socially competent and a team player
• You possess a strong service orientation and are characterized by your high analytical skills
• You bring experience in public administration and public procurement law
• You have knowledge in the area of data protection and are willing to deepen your expertise in this field
• Good spoken French skills complete your profile
