Your Role
You want to kick off your sales career and are looking for an entry into an exciting sales career? With us, you get the chance. We are looking for a communicative, motivated personality who is eager to actively approach customers and help shape our growth.
Your goal: acquire new customers and build long-term relationships. You will not be left alone – our experienced inside sales team supports you with technical know-how, ready-made offers, and structured onboarding.
What awaits you:
- New customer acquisition is your core business (80–90% of your activity): You research potential customers, make telephone contact, and gradually build trust and interest.
- Persistence as key: You keep at it – even after the fifth "No." Endurance is more important than anything else in this role.
- Personal contact on site: You visit potential customers at their companies, learn about their needs, and build a personal relationship.
- Host at our company: You welcome interested customers at SMTEC, guide them through our production, and inspire them with our capabilities – a tour often says more than any offer.
- Accompanying the offer process: You obtain concrete offer requests and present our offers (the creation is done by inside sales).
- From closing to partnership: You accompany the customer until closing and maintain the relationship long-term afterwards.
- Clean documentation: You reliably maintain your activities in our CRM system.
You bring with you
- Completed basic education (EFZ): The field of study is secondary – your personality counts.
- Enthusiasm for sales: You enjoy direct customer contact and like to approach people.
- Persistence and initiative: The most important qualities in this role. You don’t give up if it doesn’t work immediately and have no fear of the telephone receiver.
- Winning appearance: Likeable and convincing – whether on the phone, with customers, or as a host at our company. You build trust with persuasiveness.
- Linguistic agility: Confident German in spoken and written form; English is a clear advantage.
- Mobility: Driver’s license category B.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn: The desire to develop professionally and personally – we will teach you the rest.
