How you’ll make an impact

Maintain and optimize advanced wet chemical etch and lithography tools to maximize equipment availability and support cutting-edge semiconductor processes

Lead troubleshooting and repairs on complex systems, partnering with OEM experts to resolve issues swiftly and minimize downtime

Plan preventive maintenance (PM), manage spare parts inventory, and implement upgrades to boost tool performance and process yields

Collaborate with process engineers, R&D, and facilities teams to align maintenance with production goals in a fast-paced fab setting

Develop technical documentation, leverage MES systems, and contribute improvement ideas through investments and innovations

Rotate on-call support (1 week every 2 months) to ensure rapid response to critical situations

Champion a safe, inclusive workplace by upholding top HSE standards for personnel, products, and the environment
Your background
-
Experience as Mechatronics Engineer or Betriebsmechaniker, ideally with process-measurement & control (MSR-Technik)

Hands-on skills in workshop fabrication: turning, milling, drilling, soldering

Proficiency reading engineering drawings and P&ID diagrams

Knowledge of ATEX regulations and hazardous chemical handling in semi manufacturing

EFZ or equivalent in Systems Engineering/Automatiker

2+ years (5+ preferred) maintaining equipment in semiconductor, optics, or sensors fabs
-
Strong IT/networking for equipment controls

Fluent German or English (bilingual ideal)
