Buffet Manager Hiltl Sihlpost

For our location Hiltl Sihlpost at Zurich main station, we are looking for a motivated buffet manager who lives our philosophy with heart, overview, and passion.

You put our guests at the center, like to pitch in yourself, and enjoy vegetarian cuisine. If you want to be part of the oldest vegetarian restaurant in the world and lead a team, we look forward to your application.

Your tasks

• You ensure that everything runs smoothly at the buffet – from processes to the perfect presentation of the dishes
• You lead and develop a team of around 7 employees
• You competently and warmly take care of and advise our guests
• You independently manage orders and goods flow
• Hygiene & quality are a given for you: You consistently implement the HACCP guidelines
• You support your team in everyday life – with on-the-job coaching, short trainings, and team meetings

Your backpack (or suitcase, depending on travel luggage)

• A completed training in gastronomy
• Solid knowledge of food, including meat substitute products, as well as secure HACCP knowledge
• At least five years of professional experience in kitchen or buffet, first leadership experience is a plus
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form as well as good English for communication with guests and team
• Host heart, clear communication, and an appreciative leadership style
• Good MS Office skills – you are confident with digital tools
