Social Pedagogue (HF/FH) / Social Worker (60%)
The Schmelzi Foundation provides a home, individual care, and as much time as needed for stabilization to people who are in challenging life situations and can no longer manage their daily lives alone. The foundation offers various housing and employment options.
The housing support service is aimed at adults who occasionally need individual support in everyday living.
For our housing support area with a new focus on supporting mothers with children who are admitted from a protective housing setting at the Schmelzi Foundation, we are looking for a Social Pedagogue (HF/FH) / Social Worker starting March 2026 or by arrangement.
Requirements
- Completed training in social pedagogy, social work, or an equivalent qualification in the social or health sector
- Experience in supporting adults in psychosocially challenging life situations
- Experience in family support, victim assistance
- Willingness to further train in the field of victim assistance
- High degree of independence, good organizational skills, and proficient time management
- Sense of responsibility, resilience, and reliability
- Enjoy working independently
- You work in a networked, solution- and resource-oriented manner
- Confident in case documentation, writing, and language
- Proficient use of IT applications and communication tools
- Driver's license B
Responsibilities
- Outreach counseling and support of assigned clients within the reference person system
- Participation in inquiries, admissions, and discharges
- Implementation of pedagogical tasks according to the concept and instructions of the team and management and the referring agencies
- Participation in the conceptual design and implementation of the new service for supporting families affected by violence
- Systemic networking with specialist agencies for women and their children
- You work in a networked manner within the team, with internal and external departments, professionals, and clients
- Various administrative tasks, case management with GBM
