Production Mechanic – Maintenance, in 2-shift operation

Tasks

Ensuring operational readiness and preservation of value of our production facilities and technical infrastructures
Analysis and troubleshooting including root cause identification
Carrying out preventive maintenance and repair work
Compliance with and assurance of quality, safety, and legal requirements
Optimization of plant components to increase availability and efficiency
Collaboration in project teams, especially in investment projects and process optimizations
Support in maintaining the spare parts warehouse and technical documentation
Coordination and supervision of external service providers

Requirements

Completed training as a mechanic or operations/production mechanic
Several years of experience in maintenance, ideally in a production environment
Strong service and cost awareness as well as a practical working style
Willingness to work in 2-shift operation
Valid forklift and lifting platform license
Independent, reliable, and responsible personality with team spirit
Good user knowledge of MS Office
Expertise in steam, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Experience in mechanical processing (welding, drilling, milling)
Good language skills in French and/or English are an advantage
