To support our team, we are looking for a
Art Buyer (m/f/d) 100 %
initially limited until the end of May 2026 with the option of extension.
In your area of responsibility, you will be in charge of image research and ensure that cover images and photos meet the quality requirements of the
Diogenes Publishing House and are delivered on time. You will coordinate the approval process between the publisher and the departments involved in the
creation of the aforementioned products. Furthermore, you will be responsible for managing image rights, conducting fee negotiations, and consistent budget monitoring including invoice control. Planning and conducting author shootings complete your diverse range of tasks.
You possess a high visual competence and a sense of aesthetics, design skills, negotiation and organizational talent, and remain composed and professional even under pressure.
We are looking for a reliable and competent personality with a commercial training/studies, e.g., as an advertising clerk with several years of professional experience in an advertising or artist agency, a
photo studio, or ideally as an assistant to an Art Buyer or self-employed Art Buyer, head of Art Buying within an agency.
You have sufficient experience and international contacts to work independently.
