Head of Finance Department (80 - 100 %)
This is your job:
- Responsibility for the accounting of the political municipality (including school)
- Coordination and preparation of the financial and task plan, budget, and annual financial statement
- Advising authorities and administrative offices on financial matters
- Controlling and reporting tasks, credit management control
- Participation in strategic financial work as well as preparation and implementation of the municipal council's decisions in the financial area
- Management of the insurance portfolio
- Liquidity management
- Participation in and leadership of projects
This is what you bring:
- Degree in finance (CAS public finance and taxes, federal specialist certificate in finance and accounting or similar further education)
- Several years of experience in finance, ideally in a public administration
- Leadership experience is an advantage
- Independent, structured, and service-oriented working style
- Ability to recognize complex relationships as well as innovative, solution-oriented thinking and acting
- Very good IT user skills (Office and ideally Abraxas software FiS)
