Technical Project Manager

Process Analytics MTPRO is a division within the METTLER TOLEDO Group and a leading provider of field instruments for the analysis of liquids and gases in the process industry. At our headquarters in Urdorf, we develop and produce high-quality sensors for controlling production processes, which we distribute worldwide through our own market organizations. To strengthen the Industrial Engineering team, we are looking for a motivated person as a Senior Designer in the field of plant engineering / mechatronics (all genders). In this role, you will take on the following tasks: You will take technical leadership of projects focusing on mechanics, mechatronics, or automation. You plan and structure technical solution concepts in detail, developing them from the idea to successful implementation and commissioning. You are responsible for the design, procurement, and commissioning of plants and equipment. You create technical documentation of specifications and requirements including risk assessments (according to CE certification). You manage design data via PLM and ERP systems. You coordinate collaboration with third parties, engineering firms, or manufacturers. You are responsible for the evaluation and introduction of new machines and production plants into existing manufacturing. You ensure that the designed plants meet all requirements regarding safety, ergonomics, validation, and compliance.
