Your tasks

• Overall responsibility for the bank's compliance function, including AML/CFT, regulatory compliance, sanctions law (ISG), and governance issues
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations (including SPG, SPV, ISG, BankG, BankV, FMA guidelines, EU regulations)
• Strategic development and operational implementation of the compliance and governance system in line with regulatory requirements and business strategy
• Responsibility for the creation, maintenance, and continuous optimization of policies, instructions, and processes
• Planning and conducting 2nd line compliance controls and their documentation
• Responsibility for training and raising awareness among internal stakeholders as well as reporting to management and the board of directors
• Conducting and monitoring risk analyses including SPG/SPV reporting
• Professional advice and management of all compliance and sanctions processes (KYC, PEP, monitoring, CASP)
• Performing the function as the bank's due diligence officer and central contact person (SPOC) for FMA, FIU, and other authorities

Your profile

• Completed higher education with a focus on economics, law, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in the compliance or regulatory environment of a bank
• Leadership experience in a comparable role with interdisciplinary responsibility
• Experience in cooperation with supervisory authorities (e.g., FMA, FIU)
• Quick comprehension as well as pronounced analytical and structured thinking skills
• Communicative personality with team spirit and persuasiveness
• Very good German and English skills (level C1/C2)

Your first six months with us

You will be introduced directly to your leadership role as part of a structured onboarding. You will get to know the bank's central processes, contacts, and systems and gradually take over your management tasks.
