The Position
The Role
In this position, you are responsible for the efficient and timely planning and execution of maintenance and repair work at our sites in Aesch and Liesberg.
Your Opportunities
- Responsible for efficient and timely planning and execution of maintenance and repair work at the Aesch (packaging) and Liesberg (bulk production) sites.
- Close collaboration with the Unit Lead of the Engineering & Facility Services area to optimally support the two sites Aesch (packaging) and Liesberg (bulk production)
- Disciplinary and organizational leadership of the Technical Support & Maintenance department
- Support of production areas to minimize unwanted downtimes and increase equipment availability, including compliance/improvement of related key figures (e.g., OEE)
- Planning and execution of maintenance activities
- Planning, procurement, and management of spare parts
- Contact person for internal departments and external suppliers, as well as for customer
and regulatory audits
- Cost control over cost centers within the area of responsibility
- Support of projects and their execution (e.g., installation or modification of equipment).
- Conducting failure analyses and evaluation of maintenance activities regarding optimization of maintenance programs and spare parts procurement.
- Driving internal improvement projects to increase efficiency
- Responsibility for compliance with high quality & compliance requirements,
including legal regulations
- Additionally, environmental, health, and safety aspects
- Ensuring that employees are trained for their activities and receive necessary further training.
Who You Are
- Master's degree (e.g., pharmaceutical, automation technology, mechanical engineering) or equivalent education
- Several years of experience (>10 years) in the pharmaceutical industry including GEP and GMP expertise.
- Experience with production equipment (Solida production) and technical building equipment (TGA)
- Structured, efficient work organization
- Team-oriented working
- Experienced leader, ideally from the engineering field.
- Very good German & English skills, spoken and written
