Teleoperator for the Telephone Reception Center
To complete its team, the Directorate of Construction, Engineering, Technical and Security (CIT-S) of the CHUV is looking for a teleoperator at 80% for the Telephone Reception Center (CAT).
The starting date is scheduled for April 1, 2026, or to be agreed upon.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, it plays a reference role in the fields of medical care, research, and education.
The Directorate of Construction, Engineering, Technical and Security (CIT-S) carries out essential operational, maintenance, construction, and security missions on a real estate portfolio of more than 40 buildings on the main hospital site.
Open 7 days a week, the Telephone Reception Center (CAT) is a key contact point of the institution. It ensures the internal and external telephone reception of the CHUV and actively participates in managing sensitive situations and major events.
Mission
- You manage and direct internal and external telephone calls of the Reception Center
- You handle alarms and trigger alert procedures in case of major events
- You perform administrative tasks related to the activity of the Telephone Reception Center
- You ensure strict compliance with institutional procedures and directives.
Profile
- You hold a CFC diploma as a telephone operator, commercial employee, or an equivalent qualification
- You have professional experience in a similar position, ideally in a medical or hospital environment
- You are dynamic, comfortable in contacts, and have an excellent sense of welcome and service
- You demonstrate autonomy, discretion, and excellent priority management
- You know how to stay calm and take a step back in sometimes delicate situations
- You have perfect mastery of spoken and written French; knowledge of a second language is an asset
- You master common computer and office tools
- You are willing to work irregular hours (evenings, weekends, and public holidays) and to face psychologically demanding situations related to the hospital environment.
