Starting immediately or by arrangement.
The nursery at the Goetheanum maintains and designs the approximately 11 ha large garden park around the Goetheanum. Orchards with a small suckler cow herd characterize the main character of the grounds. While large parts are designed in a natural way, artistically designed rose and flower beds are located around the buildings. Themed gardens form the transition to vegetable and cut flower areas. In addition, we maintain and design gardens in the nearby and wider surroundings. Our team includes 10 permanent gardeners, apprentices, and several supported employees through the Andrena day center.
Your main tasks:
Co-responsibility for the maintenance and development of the garden park
Co-responsibility for the design and maintenance of customer gardens
Your profile:
- Completed training as a landscape gardener
- Connection to the biodynamic farming method
- Experience and skills in natural garden maintenance
- Good plant knowledge
- Professional experience in garden and landscape construction
- Good German skills in spoken and written form are an advantage
- Confident handling of MS Office
- Openness to anthroposophy
- Ability to work in a team
- Driver's license category B
