The Internal Medicine Department is responsible for the somatic, diagnostic approach, initiates the corresponding therapies, and monitors psychiatric patients with somatic problems during the course together with the psychiatric colleagues. Therefore, there is close cooperation with psychiatrists in the treatment of psychiatric patients.
For the Internal Medicine Department in Zurich and Rheinau, we are looking for a maternity cover from May 1, 2026, limited until December 31, 2026
Your tasks
- Medical-somatic care of psychiatric patients in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Ensuring general internal medicine basic care
- Interdisciplinary internal medicine-psychiatric collaboration
- Participation in telephone on-call service
Your profile
- Specialist FMH in General Internal Medicine
- Good knowledge of abdominal sonography is an advantage, X-ray diagnostics and ECG interpretation
- Experience in minor surgical wound care, resuscitation, and emergency medicine
- Flexibility and patience in dealing with psychiatric patients
- You enjoy working in a team and have good command of the German language, both spoken and written
