Your new role
As the responsible person for SHE, you hold the threads together when it comes to safety, health, and sustainability topics. You analyze and assess safety- and health-related risks in the workplace and initiate measures. Furthermore, you are responsible for the corporate health management of VBSG, further develop it, and create a new health concept. Together with the person responsible for quality management, you describe the processes in the areas of occupational safety / health protection and environment and strive for ISO certification in these areas. In the area of sustainability, you develop the strategy according to ESG standards and plan the diverse measures.

- You have completed training in the field of natural sciences / sustainability management or a comparable education and can demonstrate practical experience in one or more areas.
- You like to approach tasks in a structured and conceptual way, involve employees, and pragmatically implement measures.
- You enjoy committing yourself to your topics in the long term and building them up for the company.
- You are a team-oriented, conscientious, and resilient personality with a high sense of responsibility.
- You act economically and entrepreneurially and like to work independently.

Mobility is our passion. The St. Gallen Transport Company (VBSG) ensures public transport for the city of St. Gallen and the agglomeration with around 320 employees and 90 buses. Every day, VBSG safely brings over 85,000 passengers to their destination. The electrification work of VBSG has progressed so far that today around 65 percent of the driving performance is CO2-neutral. The Communication & Corporate Communication department takes care of internal and external corporate communication, the VBSG strategy, the development of values and leadership understanding, quality and process management, as well as occupational safety, health, and sustainability.
