About the job
The Kantonsschule Wattwil (KSW) and the Vocational and Continuing Education Center Toggenburg (BWZT) together form the Campus Wattwil, which is visited daily by around 1,200 students and apprentices. Around 250 employees work full-time or part-time for the campus.

What to expect
The construction of the Kantonsschule Wattwil is underway and will be operational in August 2026. The cafeteria is intended to become the heart of the new Campus Wattwil, focusing on a regional, seasonal, and modern food offering.
For our motivated kitchen team and the establishment of our new cafeteria, we are looking for a committed and independent personality.
Your tasks include:
- Preparation of fresh, seasonal lunch menus
- Co-responsibility for menu planning and implementation of the modern, sustainable gastronomy concept
- Responsibility for hygiene, order, and compliance with food regulations (HACCP)
- Support of the operations manager in daily business
- Deputizing for the operations manager during absences:
- Coordination of the kitchen and serving teams
- Ensuring smooth kitchen and cafeteria operations
- Assistance with orders and inventory management
- Participation in special events and school functions
What distinguishes you
- Certified cook (EFZ)
- Several years of professional experience
- Leadership experience
- Strong understanding of sustainable, regional, and modern cuisine
- Enjoyment and interest in working with young people and in a school environment
- Willingness to take on organizational tasks and responsibility
- Team-oriented, communicative working style
