About the job

• Ensure IT operations at the BFH locations in Bern as an IT supporter and support and advise employees and students on all IT matters
• Manage and install hardware and software at the BFH locations in the Bern area
• Support colleagues in the service desk (first level support) and second level support
• Supervise IT apprentices and accompany them in their training
• Assist at other BFH locations in the Biel and Burgdorf area if needed

• Completed training as an IT specialist or equivalent qualification with at least three years of professional experience in IT support
• Solid hardware and software knowledge (Microsoft and Apple)
• Outgoing personality with quick comprehension, initiative, high reliability, and strong service and customer orientation
• Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written
• Willingness to travel to the BFH locations in Biel and Burgdorf (category B driving license required)
