The court staff work daily on behalf of those seeking justice for an independent and efficient judiciary and thus make a valuable contribution to legal peace.

The Administrative Court of the canton of St. Gallen is the highest cantonal court in the field of administrative justice.

We are looking for a

Court Clerk Administrative Court (m/f/d)

Starting August 1, 2026 or by arrangement

Workload: 80-100%

Workplace: St. Gallen

What to expect

• Drafting judgments
• Taking minutes at hearings and inspections
• Editing judgments in appeal proceedings from a variety of areas of constitutional and administrative law
• Close cooperation with the presiding judge
• Right to propose and advisory vote in the decision-making process

What distinguishes you

• Completed university law degree (Master), bar admission advantageous
• Practical experience in the judiciary, legal practice, or administration
• Prior knowledge in the areas of tax law, construction, planning and environmental law, education law, health law, or immigration law is an advantage
• Ability to independently and comprehensively handle complex factual and legal issues
• Skillfulness in written expression
• You work efficiently, promptly, and accurately, even under time pressure
• You see extensive files and demanding procedures as an exciting challenge
