MAINTENANCE PLANNER (m/f/d)

Stahl Gerlafingen AG is an important company within the AFV BELTRAME GROUP, which is the European market leader in the production of reinforcing steel.

About 450 employees produce reinforcing steel from scrap steel in Gerlafingen. Stahl Gerlafingen AG is the largest recycling company in Switzerland. The sales markets for the products are in Switzerland and the European Union.

Tasks/Responsibilities

• Co-organization, coordination and monitoring of work during: planned revision shutdowns (summer/winter), repair shifts and weekends, unplanned shutdowns and malfunctions together with the electrical and mechanical team leaders
• Ensuring spare parts supply (procurement, storage and provision), coordination of external suppliers and service providers
• Responsible for the introduction and establishment of a preventive maintenance process for all systems within the area of responsibility WW, MF, RC
• Control of documents, e.g. maintenance feedback, system documentation
• Development of a measurement and control plan for wear, contamination, consumption, for early detection of system condition
• Coordination of personnel in consultation with team leaders
• Management of the spare parts warehouse, optimized spare parts logistics and quantity 
• Management of investment and optimization projects within WW/MF/RC as part of preventive maintenance

Skills

• Completed mechanical or electrical vocational training EFZ in a technical environment
• Proven experience in preventive maintenance of at least 3 years in plant maintenance in an industrial environment
• In-depth knowledge in maintenance (setup, planning, execution) of large systems
• Flawless German - spoken and written, English is an advantage
• Willingness to work outside regular hours, readiness for additional work during revisions
