Relationship Manager Global Assets (Custody/ Asset Servicing) - Geneva
The Relationship Manager plays a key role in the business development of the Global Assets (GA+) department. He/she is responsible for acquiring new institutional and private clients, retaining strategic clients, and optimizing portfolio profitability. He/she exercises natural leadership and unites internal teams around business objectives.
Your Mission:
- Identify and convert new institutional and private clients in line with growth objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing strategic clients, monitor and analyze client profitability, and take corrective actions if necessary.
- Maximize cross-selling opportunities and propose additional remunerated services.
- Be proactive in evolving services and internal processes.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop commercial materials (pitchbook, brochures, website), ensure the publication of 2-3 GA+ newsletters per year, organize client events, and represent the department at conferences and seminars.
- Formulate responses to tenders.
- Monitor commercial actions and ensure structured reporting.
Your Profile:
- University degree in finance, economics, management, or equivalent field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a similar position with proven experience in acquiring and managing institutional and private clients.
- Excellent negotiation and commercial offer structuring skills.
- Strong knowledge of Global Custody, Asset Servicing, and institutional banking services.
- Strong ability to influence and unite teams without direct hierarchical links.
- Very good written and oral communication skills (French and English essential, another language is a plus).
- Analytical mindset and ability to monitor client and portfolio profitability.
- Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously with rigor and autonomy.
- Ability to influence offer development and actively contribute to the department's strategy.
