We are looking for assistance with archive work:
Assistant
Employment rate: 15-20% (flexible working hours)
Duration of employment: 16-24 months
Start date: January 2026 or by arrangement
Salary: according to university guidelines
Job description
• Assistance with the takeover of archive holdings (recording, triage, inventory, archive-appropriate packaging and storage)
• Database work
• Creating digital copies
• Customer support
Requirements
• Ongoing master's degree in history (or studies shortly before bachelor's degree completion)
• Basic knowledge of archival science
• Experience in reading old scripts
• Skillful handling of databases
• Proficient in common office applications, especially Excel and Word
• Good knowledge of German and French
