For the Department of Permits & Supervision at the Office of Health, we are looking for a Specialist in Operational Permits, 80-100%, to start immediately or by arrangement.
Your tasks
You will process comprehensive and complex permit and approval applications from various healthcare institutions such as nursing homes, hospitals, or medical practices. In addition, you assist in the supervision of healthcare professionals and healthcare institutions by, among other things, accompanying on-site inspections. You will work closely with the Legal Department and the Cantonal Medical Service.
Your profile
We are looking for an initiative and motivated individual who has several years of current professional experience as a nursing specialist in the long-term care sector (nursing home or home care). You also bring experience in duty roster design and personnel planning, ideally complemented by knowledge of the RAI system (Resident Assessment Instrument). You have a strong understanding of the Swiss healthcare system and its education system and hold a tertiary-level degree (A or B). Ideally, you also have commercial professional experience. Your strengths include a confident demeanor and skill in oral and written communication. You have a quick grasp, think in networks, and can approach complex issues in a structured, solution-oriented, and goal-directed manner. You are recognized for an analytical, goal-oriented, efficient, and structured way of working. You are trustworthy and ready to deliver above-average performance for our clients.
