Vocational Education Specialist 80%
Your task is demanding and versatile.
Vocational education has a high priority at SVA Zurich – this applies to apprentices as well as to interns of the post-maturity business training (PWA). As part of the expansion of our vocational education department, you will take on the main responsibility for supervising the PWA interns and organizing the internal internship placements. Do you enjoy supporting young people on their way into working life and actively shaping this area of responsibility? With us, you have the opportunity to make a big impact and contribute your own ideas.
You supervise our PWAs during their assignments, coordinate the deployments within the line, and are the first point of contact for them and the involved learning supervisors. Together with the team leader for vocational education, you further develop the internship offerings and thus help create new positions. Additionally, you take partial responsibility for supervising our commercial apprentices and support the vocational education team. You regularly conduct discussions with the apprentices. You work closely with the practical trainers and support them in accompanying and training within the line as well as in implementing practical assignments.

For this versatile task, you bring a commercial education with further training and experience in vocational education or in supporting young adults. You have a high degree of initiative, work independently, and can quickly familiarize yourself with new topics. You enjoy contact with young people, communicate confidently with various stakeholders, and gladly take on responsibility. You complete administrative tasks efficiently and carefully – and you are motivated to actively help shape this area of responsibility.
