The Model Group develops, produces and supplies innovative and high-quality display and packaging solutions made from solid and corrugated cardboard. The paper for this is produced in our own paper mills from recycled paper fibres – thus ensuring a sustainable paper cycle. The Model Group employs around 4,400 people at 15 European locations. The company headquarters is located in Weinfelden.

Your tasks

• Ensuring paper pulp and process water in the quality and quantity required by the PMs
• Operation and monitoring of the pulp preparation process including the water cycles via the automation system
• Analysing faults for their causes and initiating measures
• Documentation in the areas of daily reports and round protocols
• Compliance with occupational safety regulations as well as the requirements for order and cleanliness
• Active participation in plant shutdown days and support of other departments

Your profile

• Completed paper technologist training, technical training or comparable qualification
• Technical aptitude with experience in shift work and industrial environment (our machines operate 24 hours / 7 days)
• Comparable experience in a paper mill is an advantage
• Team player mentality, high resilience and openness to new things
• Sound knowledge in handling MS Office products
• Good German skills in spoken and written form, level B2
