Timber Construction Foreman
m/f/d | 80% - 100% | GLB Thun/Oberland
Variety. Responsibility. Pure timber construction.
Are you eager for more than just theory? Do you want to not only execute projects but also help shape them? With us, you won't get boring routines, but real responsibility and a lot of variety. We are a team with passion – for cleverly planned projects. As a foreman, you are right in the middle of it instead of just being there: You lead, plan, decide – and at the same time, you are part of a team that rolls up its sleeves and sticks together.
Here’s what you’ll do
You will independently manage the execution of diverse timber construction projects – from shell construction to interior finishing
You will plan the construction process, instruct our carpenters, and keep an overview of materials, personnel, and deadlines
You will take care of the preliminary planning, handle offers, calculate projects, and keep costs and quality in check
Of course, you also pay attention to safety – that’s just part of it for you
These are your skills and strengths
- You have completed training as a carpenter and ...
- ... ideally have further training as a timber construction foreman – or bring comparable experience
- You enjoy leading people, thinking ahead, planning, and calculating
This is what you can expect
Being part of the GLB family is great! We put people at the center and promote professional and personal potential. You can further your education with us, seize opportunities, and make a difference with your ideas. We offer you cool teams, exciting projects, and structured processes.
