To strengthen our operations division MPP3 Mono Plants at the Visp, Switzerland site, we are looking for a dedicated, strong leadership, and responsible personality as Shift Leader.

In this key role, you take on the technical and personnel leadership of your shift team and ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality plant operation. You act as the central interface between production, engineering, and management and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Personnel responsibility for the assigned shift team as well as active support of the operations management team in team development

• Responsibility for structured onboarding as well as the technical and personal development of employees

• Ensuring smooth shift operations including organization and coordination of all arising work orders as well as ensuring proper shift handover

• Leadership and deployment planning of the team considering orders, priorities, break and absence management

• Ensuring contact and coordination with external parties in case of incidents (e.g., porter, on-call service, fire department)

• Ensuring proper implementation of all work in the assigned work area in compliance with applicable regulations in the areas of safety, environmental protection, and quality

Qualifications and experience:

• High commitment to strengthening and actively promoting the safety culture

• At least 5–10 years of experience as deputy shift leader or plant specialist in chemical production or service companies as well as solid knowledge in handling process control systems

• Ideally completed CPT or CPP training (formerly certified operator) or willingness to complete it

• Motivation and willingness to work shifts (including night and weekend work)

• Openness to new technologies as well as continuous professional and personal development

• Committed, flexible, and independent working style with high reliability

• Strong social skills and ability to work in a team
